For the past decade, The Compass Atelier has been quietly training a new generation of professional artists through its Master Artist Program (MAP). Many Compass Atelier graduates have gone on to earn gallery representation, national prizes, and full artistic careers. This year’s graduates demonstrate a broad range of powerful and personal work reflecting both the dedication to artistic growth and achievement in oil painting.

The 2026 Bethesda Fine Arts Festival will be held May 9 & 10, 2026 and will feature fine art created by 120 of the nation’s best artists, live entertainment and Bethesda restaurants.

Located in Bethesda’s Woodmont Triangle, along Norfolk, Auburn & Del Ray Avenues. Admission to the festival is FREE and parking is available in the public parking garage on Auburn Avenue. This event is held rain or shine.
