The Power of a Voice by Madeline Molyneux

I heard a whisper becomes the first time we lose.

All the badasses I know are yellers.

Projectors.

Shout-it-from-the-rooftopers.

Whispers

though admittedly appropriate at times

are dangerous if over exercised.

They submit.

They apologize.

They quiver in fear.

Shouts

though admittedly inappropriate at times

are powerful when used in thoughtful moderation.

They demand and

they command

nothing short of respect.

I heard a shout becomes the first time we win.
